Settlement Videos

Settlement Videos are essentially documentaries produced to resemble segments we have all seen on a "60 minutes" or "20/20" style news program. The Media Company can produce the whole 12-15 minute piece from scheduling client/expert interviews to final assembly of the clips. The documentary format is narrative using graphics and professional voice over to convey the full context of the case. The emotional impact of the case is clearly presented. The other side gets to see the faces and feelings of your clients instead of simple names on a piece of paper. The Media Company has produced these videos for use in mediations and as advance material to make the future Settlement meetings more productive.

Types of Video:
  • Expert Interviews
  • Product Failures
  • Re-enactments
  • Settlement Documentaries
  • Plaintiff Interviews
  • Day in the Life
  • Family Interviews
  • In Memoriam Videos
  • Site/Product Inspections
Day-in-the-life

Injuries can have long-term or permanent effects on a person. Some injuries can be severe and heal before the case goes to trial. The best way to show jurors the effects of the accident or injury is to document the victim's daily life.

TMC arranges the appointments at the convenience of your client to document the healing progress. The predetermined intervals create a visual timeline of the victim's pain and suffering. We can deliver the day-in-the-life video on any format . Many use these videos at settlement hearings and trials.
Why Use Video:
  • Evokes emotion through dramatic use
  • Allows for re-enactment to teach or demonstrate
  • Viewers consider video to be more believable, more upscale than other mediums
  • People are used to watching TV/Video; many people get their only news from TV
  • Speeds up trial making everyone, especially the judges/mediators happy
Accident Reconstruction

Accident reconstruction can be a very complex event. The Media Company founders have been reconstructing accidents since before they created TMC. We only work with highly trained stunt professionals to ensure an accurate portrayal of the incident. We return to the site of the accident to better demonstrate the surroundings, visual obstructions and other hazardous conditions that could have led to the accident. Attorneys generally use the reconstruction video in trial and settlement hearings.

Video accident reconstructions typically demonstrate:
  • Automobile accidents
  • Other personal injury accidents
  • Industrial accidents
